Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 19, 2026
1. Introduction
At ANJI, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), we believe that your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application, Postasnap.
Our philosophy is simple: We process only what is necessary to provide the service (scanning flyers, adding events, and managing subscriptions), and we do not sell your personal content to third parties.
2. Data We Collect & Permissions
To provide the core functionality of Postasnap—scanning physical posters, creating calendar events, and managing your account status—we require access to specific features and identifiers.
- Camera & Photo Library: Used solely to capture or upload images of event flyers for analysis. We do not access your other photos without your permission.
- Calendar Access: Used to add the events detected by our AI to your personal schedule. We do not read or analyze your existing calendar history.
- Device Identifiers & Usage Data: We collect specific device identifiers (such as Device ID or a unique instance identifier) and API usage logs. This data is used strictly to verify your subscription status, enforce API rate limits, and prevent abuse of the Service.
3. How We Use AI
Postasnap uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to extract text (like dates, times, and venue names) from the images you provide.
Important Note on Processing:
Images sent for AI analysis are processed transiently. Once the text is extracted, the image data is discarded from the processing server. We do not use your personal photos to train public AI models.
4. Advertising Services
To offer the basic version of Postasnap for free, we use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements.
Google AdMob may use technologies such as cookies and device identifiers (like the Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads based on your interests or location. Google may collect, store, and process specific information from your device to provide these advertisements.
We do not control the data collected by Google. We encourage you to review Google's privacy policies:
Opting Out: You can opt-out of personalized advertising by adjusting the privacy settings on your device (e.g., Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on iOS).
5. Data Sharing and Retention
We are an independent developer studio, not a data broker.
- We do not sell your personal content (photos or calendar details).
- We retain your Device ID and API usage logs only for as long as is necessary to verify subscriptions and enforce rate limits.
- We may share anonymized, aggregated usage data (e.g., "app crashes") with trusted analytics providers to help us improve app stability.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information during transmission and storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
